SHOPPERS DRUG MART/PHARMAPRIX VOLUNTARILY RECALLS LIFE BRAND ALCOHOL SWABS

TORONTO, Jan. 7 /CNW/ - Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix is voluntarily recalling Life Brand Alcohol Swabs as a precautionary measure due to a potential microbial contamination.
The manufacturer has become aware of one incident of a non-life threatening skin infection. While the reported incident was associated with a non-Life Brand product, as a precautionary measure customers are asked to immediately discontinue use of Life Brand Alcohol Swabs and return them to their local Shoppers Drug Mart store for a refund.
Products affected by this voluntary recall are Life Brand Alcohol Swabs (200 pack, product number 057800160441) and Life Brand Alcohol Swabs (100 pack, product number 057800060147).
